This wine needed several hours to open up quite nicely to a well-balanced medium- to full-bodied mouthfeel, with OK tannins and a nice dry finish. The palate exhibits that same sense of barnyard and orange as the nose warned of, with some green pepper, black pepper, and a hint of orange sweetness. This wine is a little bit zesty, actually.

This was an ok wine but nothing too impressive. Certainly doesn't live up to the term reserve. The fruit is too earthy and dry to be expressive, and the alcohol teeters on being too much. No acidity or balance to speak of.
