Medium body and a nice aromas make this wine very good. My wife and I went to dinner and had this wine as desert. Not with desert. It was the desert. Not the best use for this wine but thats what we did.

Better than Parker claims
Score: 92 points
Drink by: 3 to 7 years
Sampled 12/31/08. The wine only took about 30 minutes to open. Spice box up front with very sweet tannins and some nice red and black fruits. Unfortunately, the good and bad to the finish is that it is not that long but the finish also has a green/herbaceous quality to it. If blind tasted, I might have guessed one of the better California Cabs from 1989, it seemed more Cali than Bordeaux. This wine is unlikely to improve so drink sooner than later, although it could easily stay at this level of quality for another half dozen years.
