Drinking well at a summer near you

Not phenomenal, nor even great, and I have read the recent criticism of simple summer wines, but this is that, a nice, refreshing, clean summer wine that should drink well for one more summer, then move to a more recent vintage.

good weight, balance, and value

The previous review may be correct in the sense that this is probably not going to get better, but
the two I have recently opened have both been nice, refreshing, good weight and balance, and the
three I have left should make for really nice summer consumption. I will drink these this summer
and look to purchase a more recent vintage for laying down.

Graves white in its decline. Would have been great six months ago.

I have enjoyed some really nice aged Graves whites, but this one may have started it`s decline. Starting to get really golden in the glass the aromas are still enticing, with notes of lemon and hints of grapefruit. The wine has picked up some weight, but at the cost of its freshness and crispness. Wine has a bit of lanolin and dull hints of lemon up until the finish. There is where the flavor is still alive and bright. A burst of grapefruit and nice tartness surprises you leading to a long finish. This one could have been great six months or a year ago. Never expensive at under $20, current vintages are a steal among Graves whites.
