This wine is a spanish fruit bomb wrapped in silky smooth vanilla oak.  It delivers for the money and offers a good look into spanish wines for those who have never tried them.  This wine steps above other Spanish wines and brings a little extra flavor to enjoy right now!

This isn't a bad wine at all, but it isn't going to blow you away either - at least not if you've had three or more spanish wines in the $15 and under range.  Vanilla, red fruit, slight tobacco and light alcohol come through just like most other spanish red wines in that price range.  I honestly don't remember the price point on this wine but anything over $12-15 and I would skip it - search out another jewel.

87-88 Points.

This wine was peppery and cherry. It was served with seared blackened ahi tuna. this is a wine that needs some time. The wine does well if decanted for 30-45 minutes minimum. This is as good as some of my favorite Italian food wines. This wine is a wine that i will always to keep in the cellar. I reccomend this wine to friends. I have shared this wine with servers in restaurants and they enjoy this wine very much.
