NIce dark fruit shiraz, very typical of this producer.  This is yet another shinning example of good wine at a good price.  The pepper stands out to put it's signature on this Aussie Shiraz.

Nice finish, peppery, lots of extract. Heat upon first sip (15%) but did not overpower. Garnet-violet in color. Complex, and medium to heavy bodied wine. Finish lingers. Dense wine that stained the wine glass! Really reacts with the tongue. Legs crept down the glass. A disinctive and powerful wine and recommended. Would probably take a little more aging, possibly to 2012-2015.

2nd time I tried this wine. Extremely spicy, peppery and thick. Needed time to open up and was good. Would purchase again for the price.

Great price, but can you wait the 5 years it needs?

Deep, dark magenta in the glass. Aromas of dark fruit and spice. Very glycerol on the palate, rich and heavy. Flavors of blackberry and currant. Long, lingering, mouth watering finish that is fighting the tannins. This in an inexpensive shiraz that does not taste like one. Lots of fruit, but way too young. This wine will develop over the next 5 years and gain complexity in doing so.
