I decanted this wine for three hours. Super rich deep dark color. On the nose; leather, tar, white pepper, and pomegranate. Did I say white pepper? Because this was the predominant attribute that never quit. Not showing much fruit, as to be expected, but I have had this before, and it showed much better. (so much so I seeked out 4). Big serious tannins. This is a super extracted wine, the kind loved by many, but probably not me. Super dry on the finish. I should have saved a glass worth for the next day.

If I had a choice to drink one syrah for the rest of my life, this would be it. Deep dark fruit, just the right amount of pepper Long lingering finish. Memorable. I love this wine. A wine all other Syrahs can aspire to.

A truly stunning wine...dark plum color with thick sticky ruby red bright tannin in the legs and a gorgeous acacia bouquet. Mouth coating enctuous but silky textured and filled with ripe fruit. Conceals its high alcohol extremely well and although low on acid should age remarkably well. A sort of Ermitage - St Jospeh crossbreed. Try this one and compare to Kongsgaard, DuMol...among the very best.
