Perfect example of what proper aging can do for a well made wine. Let this one breathe for an
hour or so. Great aromas of coffee, cedar and chocolate on the nose. On the palete the finish is
not particularly long, 25-35 minutes, plenty of soft tannins stil left, taste coffee, bitter chocolate
and mild sour cherry.

A great wine from an off vintage.

Served with beef wellington and some rice dish from Bangladesh that was out of this world. First time enjoying this wine from the 93 vintage (good producer in an off year). Color was dark purple with a classic cassis and pencil nose upon decanting but shut down a bit when initially poured. Moderate body with some chewy tannins still present but not obtrusive.
