2008 - Mulderbosch Chenin Blanc

A pretty wine with nice floral notes, bright stone fruits, and crisp minerality. This is a clean and refreshing wine I get notes of Peaches, Apples, and Pear. This had great acidity!

1st day - 88 pts. Nose a bit muted. Floral, minerals, light. Lavender. 2nd day better. 3rd day, melon, peaches, pineapple, nice mouthfeel, more weight than 1st day. Longer finish.

1995 - Viking, Domaine du Vouvray

Does not look like a 13 year old wine. Smokey nose of ripe pear, peach and mineral. Sweetness like a spatlese/auslese mix with the perfect amount of balancing acidity. The best Vouvray I've had.
