This wine made me a believer in the magical powers of Argentina! They say the grapes are harvested @ 3100' & 3400' elevation but whatever the reason, it not only comes down from "on high" but will take u there quickly! This is an awesome wine that will only get better with age. You can drink now or cellar for a few years but do yourself (& ur friends) a favor and serve it at cellar temperature (55 to 60 degrees F.). You will be rewarded as the wine's complexity unfolds in your glass as it warms to room temperature!

Good but For Alcohol

This wine is so close to being really good but...Alcohol content is obvious from the nose. Tasting it brings big time dark cherry flavors but not sweet. Overall a decent wine for the price but lacking character.

This fruit forward cabernet from Argentina has wonderful cherry flavors and a nice tobacco finish.  This isn't just a table wine, its an honest wine that wants to impress you, and it does!

This wine is not quite as exciting as the malbec that this producer makes, but it is still a very enjoyable wine.  This Cab would match up strongly against most California Cabs in this price range.  Well structured, tight tannins, and earth and cherries on the palate. Some plum but not too much. Best with Steak.

Bright flavors. Medium bodied. A bit of anise and licorice flavors. Has some aging potential - 2 to 3 years. A great deal for the price. Too bad I only have 1 more in the cellar!

Aromas of dark fruits immediately appear in the nose with some eucalyptus, smokiness, and green pepper. It has a nice mouth-coating body with tight tannins and a longish finish. This is an excellent food wine and would complement any meat dish with a sauce that is on the sweet side. Think duck with a black currant sauce.
