"My name is Michael and I a wino!"

Please note that Michael's drinking has had no effect on his grammar!

Welcome!

I think drinking had a lot to do with how little I got out of my English degree.

The sentence above speaks for itself.

Rennie, you're the English "miner," but shouldn't the sentence above read something like:

Drinking had a significant impact on how much I learned while pursuing my degree in English.

Texas good ol boy arrives for this first day at Harvard. He asks the first student he sees "Where's the Library at?" "Here at Harvard, we never end a sentence in a preposition!" "Well excuse me. Where's the Library at A$$Hole?" ****There are ways around all grammatical rules***

You can always tell a Harvard man, but you can't tell him much!

While at a Yale-Harvard game, I took advantage of a timeout to use the rest room.  In a hurry, I neglected to wash my hands.

I was excoriated by a Harvard man, who said: "At Harvard, they teach us to wash our hands after we use the bathroom!"

I replied: "At Yale, they teach us not to piss on our hands!"

wasn't our current lame duck white house occupant a "yalie"?

OH that's right, he hasn't pissed on his hands, just on the rest of the country. pardon me.

Rennie, either way the current occupant of the White House would have been a Yalie - Bush or Kerry.  And if Herlary and Himary win (again) you will have two more Yalies in the White House.

And while I am no fan of Bush, the Democrat-controlled Congress has done little, if anything, to oppose him.

yeah, you're right derek, the past 2 years (or so) have been pretty disappointing under the new "leadership" of the dems in the house and the senate.  however, in their defense, they've tossed out a few pieces of legislation that have gotten themselves vetoed and they don't have a large enough majority to override the veto.  and who said that bush wasn't a divider?
