An outstanding effort, have 6 bottles of this. Very fruity and peppery, just like I like it. I was turned on to this by Robert Parker's Wines of the Week. Highly recommended for Australian shiraz lovers.

Tasted this and 2004 Two Hands Angel's Share on same day. the Glen Eldon Shiraz is one tablespoon below the Two Hands on the glasses scale. Peppery and powerful, fruity and forward, ready to drink, and a great price. An excellent effort.

Delicious, fruity, peppery, pencil shavings, wonderful nose. Outstanding Shiraz for a good price.

2005 - Casa Silva Carmenere Carmenere

Almost elegant

Smooth and reserved, slightly musky with a hint of pepper. Very laid-back wine, a bit more punch and I would call it "elegant".
