| This was wine was light on the wallet and palate. Light smoked cherry and dirt are the main things I'm picking up. Some oak chip flavors are in there as well, but for the money I don't think anyone will be too disappointed. Food helps! |

| Good quaffer. This wasn't anything exceptional, but again it's a decent table wine that offers enough complexity to enjoy with a simple meal. Light cherry and tabacco with strong oak coming through on the palate. A little too much alcohol and dirt but it's good for the price. |

| This has big beautiful ripened fruit with a nice kick of acidity and vanilla oak at the end. This is overflowing with blueberries and rasperries with a nice orange peel lingering in the undertones. This is good and way beyond on the money on what it delivers. This will last for a long time! |

| This merlot knocked my socks off. Velvety, fruit forward, and full of sweet cedar and milk chocolate. I could drink this wine all day everyday! The mouth feel is a medium to fuller body but it's just so smooth on the palate and such an amazing value! |

| The only problem I have with this wine, is that I liked it's little sister the regular merlot more and it's about $15 less than this bottle. Overall, it has big juicy strawberry and raspberry fruit with a nice mint chocolate kick on the finish. This wine also has a little bit of chew at the end. Still an excellent buy! |

| This wine was really exceptional for the price that asked for. I thought it was well balanced and full of solid red fruit with a nice vanilla cover. This is a very big fruit bomb from Washington, with big oak too, so if that's not your style - I would recommend walking away from this one. Otherwise it is an excellent value. |

| This was one of the best California Cabernets I had had in a long time. The wines taste is very warm, like black and bell pepper, with a very strong kick as the tannins set in. It's simple and enjoyable, and I like wines that kick, so it's a 5 for me. I can tell it would go great with food too. |

| Too many other wines like this one and this one really disappoints. This wine was all around disappointing. Not bad, just disappointing. On the nose, smells like red licorice. A lot. Can taste some strawberry, plum and lots of spice, but nothing extraordinary on the palate. The taste couldn't deliver what the nose brought. |

| Good chardonnay! This wine has a great golden yellow color. The smell is very toasty and buttery, you can really sense the oak in it and there is a hint of apple too. |

| This was a very creamy charddonay. The taste is full of oak, cream, butter, and vanilla, as well as a bit of green apple. There is a bit of warmth in it, but overall it reminds me of a cream puff. This would make a great food wine. |

| This vintage is very similar to the previous two. It has an overall creaminess and butter to it. Tons of sweet vanilla and toasty oak on the nose that comes through even stronger on the palette. Drink this one younger. |

| The finish is too short and weak to give this anything more than two stars. This vintage is really buttery and smooth in your mouth and finishes with a bit of green apple. Not a very long or complex wine. It comes, hits you upside the head with some oak and says goodbye. |

| This wine just misses coming together as an excellent wine at the end. It has a strong palate of black cherry, blackberry, cedar, sage, mint, and vanilla. Firm tannins and decent aciditiy. Close to being "well-balanced". |

| Just a solid cab. The wine is lead by some dark cocoa and some charcoal on the nose. Nice body. Nice fruit. Very drinkable on the second day. Tannins mellowed a few hours after it was opened. Nothing amazingly special about this. . . a solid cabernet. |

| This is the best all around vintage so far. This wine smells like jam on warm toast, with bell pepper, chocolate, and spices... it's a very heady aroma that is easily noticed. The finish is long and easy to enjoy. This is ready now, but another year or two in bottle wouldn't hurt. |

| Too boring to recommend and it has an odd finish. Sharp tannins that hit you fast and high on the palette. Spicey red fruits. Has that long steely finish. I am finding this is all pretty typical of lower priced cali-cabs. |

| Another miss. Mid-way it hits with quite a bit of acid and a lot of tannin, making you pucker up. I can tell this wine would go better with food, and will probably not age well either. The fruit is almost gone and it was light dry cherry and currant to begin with. Drink now or don't buy. |

| This was another excellent desert wine. It smells of sweet nectar and honey. The taste is like nectar from heaven. There's strong honey and nectar flavors as well as peach and mango. It's creamy and delicious and I wish I could have more! |

| This was just ok. Not worth the $25 I paid for it. An ok Bordeaux maybe a year past it's prime, but still pairs nicely with most red meat. Tough on the finish, the tannins are dry and rough. The fruit was faded cherries and currant. Cedar also comes through. |

| This has straw/golden yellow appearance and crisp sour smell with peach and lime. The flavor has a strong, fruity attack and good, creamy, yeasty taste with definite mineral components as well as peach and berries. There is a smooth texture and a good effervesence. Tasty! |

| Solid bordeaux - it has a very nice fruity aroma, slightly herby, very rich. Very slight acidity in the flavor, some fruit and citrus, definitely sweet and sour. Not a very strong flavor but decent. |

| This is a much higher quality wine than what comes out of Napa at the same price. This wine smells of oak, tobacco and cigars. The flavor is oaky, a bit warm, and peppery. There is a small amount of acid too. Definitely for food. |

| This vintage was a lot more complex than the fruit forward 2003. Color was a nice dark cranberry bordering on garnet. Nose of red fruit, clove, and coffee. It had a taste of pepper and leather, mushroom and green herbs. |

| I prefered the 2003 and the 2004 - this one was a little too cool of a claret. A little flat at first, this wine is well balanced and integrated and is a very nice, soft mild-bodied Bordeaux.The wine is mellowing and finishing with hints of oak and fennel with good length. The fruit is just too mild to give it anything more than 2 stars for me. Some might love. |

| This was an exceptional Bordeaux! It smells of black currant and raspberries, very ripe. The flavor has oak with slight vanilla and black pepper, a bit fruity, very acidic and tangy, good tannin for a mild kick. Good energy in this one and very delicious. |

| This would be solid for an easy to drink table wine - if the price was slightly lower. It's a little hot but nice dark plum and prune like nose. Very smooth with a great full bodied mouthfeel. Finish is only medium length but smooth. I found it had an extra layer on the finish after it was opened a few hours. |

| This wine was extremely rich and vevlety... I let this one breath for a few hours. It revealed dark cherry on the nose and hints of chocolate. The cocoa is dry and flaked all over your palate- making it taste like you're drinking chocolate covered strawberries. |

| I didn't. Too green and lacking the fruit character that I enjoy in California Syrah. This wine smells of raisins and plums with a bit of herbs. The taste is thick and acidic, has a bit of plum and green pepper, as well as tannin. It's slightly sweet but still very dry. |

| Much bigger than the 2001 - I rather enjoyed this inky petite syrah. Deep dark inky-purple color - maybe it's better to let this one breathe a few hours. Starts out indistinctly fruity in the mouth but quickly moves to tart, with a touch of dryness on the finish. |

| When reading this review - remember that the wine turns very austere and that made it 2 stars. This wine has a very clear red color. The aroma has pepper, oak, and spice. The taste features spice and wood, it's very dry and has a bit of blackberry. This one would definitely go well with cheese. Drink now. |

| Good for the price but not blowing me away. Nose is strong with alcohol-tinged, slightly overripe fruit. Relatively full-bodied for an Argentinian wine, with little of the mineral qualities that typically distinguish offerings from this region. Not unpleasant, but almost had more characteristics of a California Zinfandel than a Malbec from this region. |

| Nothing like the 2005 - just all over the place and not in a good way at all. I will say that it was fairly well balanced. The finish tended towards acidic over time. An ok wine based on the price, but I would still say pass compared to the 2005. |

| This is the step up from Girards lower cabernet, and it is extremely enjoyable! This wine smells of black currant, cigars, cherry, and a bit of herbs. It also smells like band-aids, and a bit smoky too. The taste is thick with tannin and it sticks to the tongue, it's a bit dusty and smoky as well. I just plain liked it! |

| Nice vintage! Melon overtones to this wine are not over-powering, and the wine comes off as pleasant. The wine is light, it drinks more like melon juice than wine, but it's good for light occasions or as a replacement for stronger wines. |
